Kristian Niemann's opinion on Therion's lyrics

Knowing that the people who listen to Therion really seem to get into the lyrics and mythology/religious concepts, this is going to sound like blasphemy, but I´ve never been interested in lyrics, period. Not by any band. I´ve always been more interested in the notes.
Maybe it´s because I´ve tried writing lyrics in the past and they´ve always sucked. I don´t know. Having said that, I DO think that Therion´s lyrical themes go extremely well together with the music and the imagery it conjures up. It fits perfectly, and as we all know...context is everything.
