A true improvement

I thought this worked a lot better than the original album recording.

In the original the song is very calm and relaxing and quiet, then the "iron maiden" part comes on very loud and strong which ruins the feel. I think if it was mixed quieter it would be more enjoyable (for me anyway). On this mix with the guitars less prominent it has a much more smooth transition. So I really appreciate it. Same thing on the album version of Wonderous world of Punt. The ending comes on so loud and heavy after such a relaxing song. I think the guitars were mixed lower on the ending part it would have sounded better.

yeah yeah I know my opinion. Some people like it the original way.

Can't wait to hear the live tracks on the upcoming DVD release. I don't know what was with this singer on this show who acts like she doesn't like the music at times.

Also for the calm stuff Petters drums are so much better. Sammi (sp?) is a great drummer but his drum set is made for heavy metal. On the calmer songs it is too boom boom and bassy. Petters drum set has more of a snap and a good pitch that works better with Therion. Also the melodic style also.

I really like all these improvements. I look forward to hopefully having a lot more of my favorite songs performed and released live. Hope they can do the live with symphony show again and be able to perform more songs that they didn't get to do.

 The wait... the anticipation. Unbearable.

Erm, this is not the recording that's gonna be released. The one from Miskolc will be.
The weather's fine, but there might be a meteor shower.
