I think that by that time of year a hotel would be best suited... as for me I think I'll be coming on Friday since I don't do well with travelling on concert days... too much hassle and lack of sleep

I also vote for a hotel and coming bit earlier... I am very unpleasant when I do not have even my average 2 - 4 hours of sleep.
I would like to enjoy the festival without any big hurry. (:

@all who will be sleeping in a hotel. I found 3 rather cheap hotels/tourist hostels. I have a page in english to the first one: http://www.plock.org.pl/english.htm the cheapest one is called Martus. 90,- PLN for 2 people (double room) I will call soon to the tourist hostels to get info about reservation and prices. and if there are any discounts if we are bigger group. what do you think about it?

i'm sorry but i think all the ones i showed you were the cheapest there were... the one you put in the earlier post was also 25 PLN for person... if you will look carefully at all the hostels, guest houses and whatever else on that big list, you will see that you won't find anything under 20 PLN per person per night... it's not my fault it's like that tbh

I am the same like Agnes... for Czech person is it abroad very expensive.. And Polish currency is not so weak as I thought. The bus to Warszawa will be quite expensive. (It's more expensive than to Budapest o_O)
For me is 25 alright. Even 70 but 90 is already quite problematic. Anyway I have summer holidays so I can spend day and night at work hahahaha

At least - the festival is free

the 70 PLN and 90 PLN were for double or triple rooms which means 30-35 PLN per person not the full amount... unless you want to occupy a double/triple room by yourself

all the ones i posted go between 20 - 35 PLN per person per night... and there is nothing cheaper than 20 PLN per night

I hardly think we are going to be 50 people in our group though

my ticket to warsaw costs 20PLN + ?? PLN to Płock.. and back!!

I told you I may call these hotels and ask for discounts for e.g 10 people or 20 people group

20-30 PLN is very cheap in Poland so..naaah.. it's only one night

I have nth against sleepin in 6 or 5 person room

that's 6 euros a night for anyone that doesn't understand what we're talking about here

and i have nothing against it either, as long as it's people i know

for me it will be 2 nights if i come on friday as i plan to... only one thing i require, a decent clean bathroom (preferably not one for 50 people), don't think i ask much

this is also an option... if we take quadruple rooms it's also 20 PLN... and it's for 30 people... ofc my suggestion is that we wait until we have a definite number for our group and then we decide

it's better to get the definite number of a group quite quickly, then is bigger chance to get free roomes..remember that not only we are going to this concert. it's cheap so many fans will gather in Płock

of course if we won't book anything..better to choose sleeping bags and some tents to sleep on the beach ;] hehehe

because we have options from double to five person room, so everybody can choose exactly who they want to stay with, like if there are couples coming and so on... and it's also big enough to give us a comfortable margin if people show up later that want to join us

btw Agnes i was also looking for trains from Warsaw to Plock and to my amazement i saw that it takes longer with train than with bus, because there are no direct trains to Plock from Warsaw and you have to change... yet the distance would be so small

yes..there is a change to do if we travel by train so I'm gonna take you all to the bus from Warszawa Zachodnia to Płock

and for me this guest house you chose is a good option. not our task is to get the list of people going to Płock and who want to sleep in a hotel and then I'm booking
