READ THIS: Therion Forum Rules

Forum rules
 
 These rules are for all the forums!
 
 General rules about posts
 
  • No racism. We have zero tolerance against it and you will be banned for it.
  • Try to keep bad words to a minimum
  • Do not write post titles in upper-cased letters.
  • Do not post spam. And by spam we mean full festival infos (like the entire program), the entire set of tourdates for other bands, self-promoting stuff and similar. (We are pretty slack on the self-promoting stuff for forum regulars).
  • Keep the use of upper-cased letters in posts to a minumum too. If you need to emphasise something, use the bold tag instead. This goes for signatures and display names as well.
  • As long as you obey the above you can post about whatever you want (as long as you post in the right section).
  • When quoting, only quote the relevant parts.
  • Don't resurrect old topics ( > 12 months) unless you have a very good reason such as new information other people might be interested in. Adding your own opinion is not a good enough reason.
  • Don't, under any circumstances, ever use the marquee tag.
  • Don't ask for bootlegs; they're illegal.
Images
 
 
  • The images may not be too big. Max 500x80 for signature and 500x500 for posts.
  • Make sure the images load within two seconds.
  • They may not be animated

 Violation of the above will result in quick and brutal punishment including, but not limited to, permanent ban and public humiliation.
 
 These set of rules might be changed from time to time, so pay attention to the last post date.

Conversion error there. Sephren should edit the post and also make sure every mod gets his/her permissions back :) (which, alas, wasn't fixed in the conversion)

Sorry, could I please have the use of the glow feature returned to me, it's very important. Although I won't use pink. Actually you should add that as a rule, perhaps I may not of used pink if I had known it was so harmful.

I removed that feature and all other background colour-changing features now. The colour is not the problem, it is the use of other colours than the standard ones.

OK, my mistake.
I´ve removed the "New shows bootlegs" thread, It´s the first time I read that bootlegs are illegal stuff, I have another concept of that, but rules on this forum are clear, I won´t ask again for boots.

It's not without reason that cameras are disallowed at concerts.

I am not a new member, and this post would have gone in the thread for new members but it is locked, I just had one question as I have not been here for a while and many things have changed.

The Question:

What is with the current appearance of the board? I have been looking for a thread that addresses this but I cannot find one.

The Therion overlay was removed to help stop spam.You can change it back to the old theme I believe.

Indeed, we are currently limited to one theme only.
The others had certain bugs that allowed for a bunch of new accounts to be created and post lots of shit on the forum.

Shouldn't the webmasters try to find/create a new layout? One that is more appealing to the eye and fits both Therion's image and the main website? I know it takes time, but I would like to know if they are already working on it or if they are leaving things as they are.
