Well they had no problem using the name Shaitan in Wine of Aluqah, along with Iblis.
 And besides I didn't get the Islamic persecution part...surely no one will sentence Christofer to death as they did with Salman Rushdie.

The persecution you talk about is that they are forbidden to pronounce the "sh" sound or the fact of the role/evilness this character represents?

That is wrong Shaitan has nothing to do with demiurge actually jehovah is much more close to such   status even old gnostics considered jehovah to be evil god.

There's this thing about christianity (and many other religions): Once they reach the status that "their" god is the only one, all other local gods are not only degraded (let's say from God Baal Sebub to Archangel or something), but inverted and called demons. If there's only one god then he's called Satan by the christians.

I'm agree that the secret name is Sahitan, but I think that they can't use it because is so sacred for them:

The muslims aren't the stupid people that the Americans want to draw us. The turkish knew very well the yezidi cult and they tolerated them. If the kurds are persecutted now, is more for political and ethnical reasons than religious

I've notice a few inaccuracies in regards to Gnosticism.
 The Gnostics did not view the Demiurge as being totally evil, within Valentinian Gnosticism for instance; the Demiurge actualy plays a benificial role.

Well, this is because THerion are not Yezidi, and are free to say what ever name they wish. If you notice in the song Melek Taus, no where does they say that Melek Taus is Satan or an adversary to God

Not only here... He rarely makes "two lines" posts at all, since I've been reading this forum.
But he makes something else...  silly accusations against me. Can you believe what did he accuse me for in Croatian subforum: That my posts are "too long and with endless quotes and that they are killing the discussion..."! And after that, in the next 60 minutes(!) five other people repeated the same crap: "that my posts are too long with too many quotes, that they skip them, that forum is not intended for skipping posts but for reading(!)..."
