But just for the record, and to try to push away the   :offtopic:  demon for a little while still... I really think rituals and such useless things serve no purpose but make the would-be occultists feel ever more special... and helps them have faith in what they are invoking... Really... if you people think there are spiritual beings around, do you really think those who are worth it are gonna be bound by such material things as drinking menstrual juice (note here my redundant use of the word "juice" to describe it) and having sex with a priestess... or sacrificing goats and jewish children with ritual daggers...

I really got bored to read that boring dicussion,I don't know why no body did not ask about Aluqah,do you guys really know what Aluqah is?please let me know.And I should tell something else,those words that were mentioned at the begining of topic-zat i shaitan,golshane i raz-
 those are defenitely persian,shaitan is the same as satan,and iblis is the other name for shaitan.I am wondered why you guys thought they might be arabic or turkish.there is no G (like goal)in arabic so there is no golshan in arabic.and how you thought they might be turkish.I am really wondered.  :bigshock:  without no doubt those words are farsi.and I think there is some hidden meaning in this poem,(why they used farsi words in their song.I really don't know.If you know please tell me)

 If I remember correctly, the Aluqa (note here the lack of "h") was some kind of vampire/succubus from Arabian (quite possibly the Q'ran) myths...
 
 A note here should be made that all ancient "vampires", in myths, were not "undead" but belonged to the orders of demons found in the underworld.

The lack of the is most likely because the 'h' sound is usually just an aspirant, so really, you don't need it if the aspiration is assumed, as in the English speaker's 'p'

Eye Of Shiva is I think reference to third eye in the song.Eye Of Set is usually reference to anus and sexual magic.

Because everyone knows I spit on DR and the promotion Therion does of it. I've always been amused by the paradox of egocentric "occultists" longing for godliness and power who join or even create orders to fulfill their goals. Go arrogance! Oops did you need that guy's help?!
 
 A side note on Set : He was always portrayed at the front of the bark of Re fighting back the serpent Apopis as the gods made their journey through the night... until priesthoods fought over political issues and the temples dedicated to Set were destroyed and his followers deemed worshippers of evil. Long live amusing views of mythologies through the eyes of the winners in the material world!

Well, I am a member of DR and believe me, yours is quite a corrupted image of what the order stands for. I'm sure that if you read about DR's philosophy, even if you do not agree with it, you will learn to at least be respectful with it, there is no point in being rude. And if you have read DR's basic philosophy and still show such a vulgar despise at it, well to me that signifies that you are unbelievably intolerant and shallow. I am sorry to have to write this but it seems to me that your's are not words of criticism, but rather unsustained hatred. As for therion's "Promotion" of DR, I see no reason why a person cannot discuse what is a significant part of their life in their songs. Truly if you feel such repulsion for the lyrics, why hear it at all?   :evil:
